Edmunds BMW 535i Review
What Works: Twin-turbo 3.0-liter engine is a beautiful match for this car, highly adaptive six-speed automatic transmission is a benchmark, actual adult-size rear seats, Sport Package retains supple ride. What Needs Work: iDrive continues to complicate simple chores, $50,000 base price will be out of reach for 335i owners who just want more room. Bottom Line: With the addition of the twin-turbo six to the 5 Series, this stately car no longer requires a V8 or manual transmission to be entertaining. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do.../pageId=124608 Still an ugly car, but I'm glad this TT engine is finding it's way into other parts of the lineup (namely, that need the extra grunt). |
