Many things are more expensive down here in ATL. (Johnny Walker Black, for instance--and all other booze.) But private school is considerably cheaper. Our son's school is about $10k a year cheaper than in DC, and just as good, if not better.

Well - Here is kind of the opposite of the thread title....
BaT is selling a near clone of my 997... Same color this time. Love that color. Will be interesting to see what it does. Mine has all the goodies one could possibly get one them - literally (except the S). So, while the subject car is an S, it does not have sport seats, full leather, Sport Chrono, and probably other stuff that I am not smart enough to figure out. lol Mine also has 4 times the amount of miles. Also - I do admit that I do not really like the black interior the other car has. I really really do like what I have. Still, it will be interesting to see what it goes for. And here's a couple pics of mine for reference... (original pics from when it was for sale - it has NEVER been that clean under my stewardship - lol)

Want!!!!
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/196...benz-280-sl-2/ Shame about the MT though. 280SL's with MT's are pretty rare. |

Too funny, do the scoops assist with fire suppression?

Those scoops look sort of like an octopus reaching over the roof, or something.
