Feedback on an AMG GT?
Just curious to read thoughts.
I know, no manual.

It’s as fast as it looks, if what you’re talking about is depreciation.

Ha ha ha ha.
That was funny. I am looking at CPO ones. They do tend to depreciate.

I hear you could get a pretty good price for yours if you moved up.

At an even trade, I'd rather have what I have. It's rare enough there's an opportunity to use the 455hp I have.

Nooooo.
(Sorry I am back late. I don’t know how notifications work here) Looking for something that can be fun in heavier traffic. But with a transmission that is not a dullard. PDK is fine. Merc AMG could be okay. But yeah. This is my Clyde-esque surrender to the new normal in terms of transmissions.

I honestly haven’t driven one. I do like the way they look, even if it’s a bit cartoonish.
Might be fun to try something different, though I can’t imagine it drives better than a 911 or Cayman. And if you’re talking about a hardtop, why not a 987 Cayman R? |

I've never driven an AMG GT, but i did drive an SLS about 7 years ago so i'd imagine it will be somewhat similar. It was one of those cars that just had a unique feel and you certainly feel good driving it. Not a fan of most Mrecedes interiors but from what I can tell the AMG GT models have a very high quality vibe. THe sound of the big V8, the quality feel, the way it rides is kind of unique. (I know i'm making it sound like a Corvette, and there's some truth to that, but it is definitely something special). I think i'd be hard pressed to every buy one new vs a 911 due to the massive depreciation, but I think they could be an interesting prospect used.
