It's definitely a shame that this car isn't being driven, but I'm guessing that the seller got plenty of enjoyment out of it anyway.

I'm sure the percentage of "special cars" that are actually used to their potential is fairly small. I mean, how many Dodge Demons are actually going to hit the drag strip?

My childhood best friend owned (and stored) a 1969 mustang, 429 V8, 4 speed. Beautiful pearl blue, and as I remember, very well optioned (for back then) He rarely drove it, and after many years of ownership, sold it for a profit.

A few years after he sold it, he confided in me that driving it scared the shit out of him. He added traction bars, and anything else that was suggested to him to improve the handling. As long as I have known him, he has owned and raced numerous motorcycles and sports cars. He isn't a jerk, he knows how to drive.
