I don't remember all I once knew about your part in bimmerfest, but always thought you built a great community, both online and the events (which I regret never attending). Seems like there's always more to life than whatever you're doing, though. At least in my case.
Thanks Clyde. I really appreciated when you and your family visited and you let me cook you dinner.

I could hardly recognize you with that beard and all..

It is pretty wild. A bunch of us actually met up in April after so many years of many of us never meeting in person. Some pics starting here:

Thanks! I sold the e36 to a customer of mine when I got the e92 4/13. I loved the e36 but it was never perfect (kinda rough when I first bought it in 2005)
no matter how hard I tried. I had a blower installed in 2012 that added a bunch of power but sounded like shit. After that I knew I would get rid of it.
The guy who bought it turned it into a track car and then proceeded to total it.

Nice. I totally get the 'simple car' thing.

I keep thinking of moving 'down market' in the daily commutermobile department myself.
As in - park the E38 and drive the E23. I totally understand how you can drive an E30 every day - especially in CA.
This is what hangs me up on the E38/E23 trade.....
Heated seats... better defrost... more power (lol - 4.4L M62 vs 2.8L M30)… But - may do so in the summer.

Oh - Nice to see the coastal pics of CA. Makes me homesick.. lol (I'm from MRY - went to school in SLO before moving to Seattle).

Cheers
