Great Ceramic Wheel Coating

for those that have considering coating their wheels. Currently 15% off. I have version 2.0 applied to the BMW M parallels which I purchased a new set of in 2020. I recently purchased the newest version, 4.0 to apply to the 992 T wheels upon arrival.

How does it hold up to Sonax or other wheel cleaners. I still use Zaino - I really like ZFX for its ease of use and longevity. I apply that to my wheels at every detail, but I always assumed the aggressiveness of the wheel cleaner ate it off at the next wash.

Do the ceramic coatings resist harsh cleaners well?

Known for me… Per my experience you will not need a wheel cleaner if you ceramic coat with Kamikaze Stance. My electric pressure washer removes most of the contamination prior to me even touching it with anything else. I follow up with soap and water, more specifically Gyeon Bathe+.

I only use wheel cleaners on wheels that are not ceramic coated.

me too. Removing brake dust with a spray of a pressure washer vs sonax, scrub, sonax scrub rinse foam rinse sounds wonderful. Especially on the RS Spyder wheels on the 911 and the 10 spoke 20" wheels on the X5

I have purchased the “pro kit” both times. https://www.esotericcarcare.com/kami...t-4-0-pro-kit/

Obviously, you toss the yellow microfibers and red applicator after use.

I did see that you must use the bottle with a month of opening. Sounds like I'll need to get my ducks in a row and get a few sets ready to do all at once. But the priority would be the 718.

That is what they recommend, but I promptly put the little sealant cap back in place after every individual wheel application and once totally completed. I did two coats as well, 24+ hours apart. My original Kamikaze purchase, Stance 2.0 is still good or at least appears to be. Disclaimer, YMMV.

FYI, I recently received an email from Esoteric regarding Kamikaze coatings, but I have not looked into it. Just passing along since we were discussing this yesterday.
