Both at some point over the next 6 months or so. My first daughter will be getting her license middle of next year. The younger one gets hers the year later. Don't want M cars with them driving (+ insurance, upcoming maintenance, etc). I'll get the 335 as soon as I find the right one. We'll find them a decent e46 wagon next year. .

why aren't you looking for a 135 convertible?

Well that was easy:

It's an '11 with 36480 miles. Original MSRP was $57,300 M-Sport, X-drive, Premium, Convenience, Heated Seats, Ipod, BMW Performance Exhaust, sunshades etc. The online ad was horrible, so I didn't think it would be a fit, but it was close by so I figured I'd take it for a drive today to see if X-drive was livable or if I wanted RWD. Turns out I really, really, liked it. It drove great, awd didn't bother me and I was really happy with the shift action. It was optioned perfectly (except for the type 287 wheels, wtf.) and priced below market value so I put a deposit on it. Carfax is clean, service records look good. I should pick it up Thursday night if all goes well.

Now to sell the M3 and M5.

Congrats! I love '11 335's, both x and non. Something happened to the e90's and they just got better with time (and with the f30 intro)...

BTW, to the original post, I would not get BMW with 'ette (while I would get MB with MB-tex).

Congrats..

My wife's '09 touring had that color interior, although without iDrive...

Loved the leather color in that car. It's also what turned me on to tan seats with black carpet. Great mix and hides dirt on the carpet...

looks nice!

yeah, about the wheels... I think BMW did a production run near the end on E90 M Sports with 287 wheels for some reason. It's not like they had a shortage (they were still putting the M sport wheels on the coupe/convertible up until the end of 2013 production).

Thanks, do you know if there is an easy way to find out if the performance power kit was installed? The only way I found out about the performance exhaust was by peaking under the car and seeing the plaque. The dealership that has it, didn't know much anything about the build, to the point they were surprised when I showed them the comfort access. It seems like the original owner checked every option box (I don't know if it has adaptive cruise or not), I wouldn't be surprised if it had the power kit.
