For me the 4 ways are perfect, but I’m basically the only one that drives the car so once I set them I never move them. I wanted the memory 18 way seats but didn’t want to spend the money and now I’m glad I didn’t.

For my preference it’s either LWBs or the 4 way seats.

Agree with you guys. And yes I do wish the seats were fully manual.

That will be my situation, the only one to ever drive it.

Agreed… Plus at 5’11 and 153-155 lbs I fit in about anything. I am board shouldered though.

OT, I found this price interesting as this is typically what a manual 2009 997.2 C2 brings +\-. ‘09 C2 PDK with 26k miles. https://mart.pca.org/ads/64072

The 2009s weren’t PDKs?

2009 was the first year of the PDK. It was introduced on the 997.2 in the fall of 2008.

That’s what I thought, but that ad says 4 speed auto.

Yep, I saw that too. Clueless owner? Strange ad to disclose “driven infrequently.” That is typically not considered an advantage. Mine is pushing 60k miles and while the exterior is not cosmetically perfect, that is exactly what I wanted. I did not want to live in constant fear with one that had been a garage queen. My interior is easily a 9.5 though and coupled with regular maintenance is what mattered the most to me.

How are you doing on your BMW divestment process?

Fine… it appears I will be stuck with the E39 540 indefinitely. I suspected as much given how much I have dumped into it. Majorly upside down so I can only go so far on the selling price as it is absolutely senseless to take a beating on it just in order to rid of it.

Everyone is different, when purchasing used I only want a super low mileage car. I would have to disagree it is not considered an advantage but hey we all have our own wants.
