The one on the left middle is the standard M12 3/8” ratchet. The one on the right middle is the FUEL version. I think it’s pretty obvious why you want to avoid the FUEL version here.

Gotcha.
I need to confirm that the non-fuel battery works in my charger though. Edit: I'm reading internet claims of "100% cross-compatible batteries to tools to chargers and back again" which is pretty sweet. Last edited by rumatt; 11-24-2019 at 10:38 AM. |

FYI, the ratchet kit is on sale from tools-plus. I've bought from them before. Solid place. I just ordered the M12 ratchet kit. (technically I only needed the tool, but this allows me to have a dedicated charger in my back garage and an extra battery for very little.) You also get a free 3/8" to 1/4" adapter FWIW.

I've been in the process of mostly switching from Dewalt to Milwaukee as the loss-leader sales come up. One of these is not like the others, though. Weirdly, Milwaukee has no real equivalent to the Atomic impact.
Fun fact: Construction guys will pay a shocking amount of money for your old dewalt tools. I managed to sell off my Dewalt mid torque and high torque for only $50 less than I paid for the Milwaukee ones. Also, do not join tool deal groups on FB. I had to exit them because I was spending too much money. ![]()
