EAG just listed an e39 m5 with 300 miles and an e46 m3 with 500... looking for $150k for the m5 and $100k for the m3:

Kind of amazing that someone might consider paying $150k for an E39 M5. Any M5, really.

They have a $150k e30 m3 and an $125k e36 lightweight on their site too. I can't see any of these being *that* desirable, but I don't have $150k burning a hole in my pocket for any car right now, so it really doesn't matter what I think.

It's all just bonkers. Was the E36 LTW special? Yes. Special enough to command three times an already ridiculous price for a regular E36 M3? No fucking way.

Is anyone here in the SF / North Bay area? I'm concerned that the car might be a bit shabby. Good colors though. |

I know Theo is up that way. Zach you might want to PM him.
It has heated seats and (I think from the pics) the harddrive based newer I-drive (huge improvement over the 2009 and prior unit). You can also see the sport/multi-contour seats and sport wheel in the interior pic. The bimmerfest classified has the VIN and some other info http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=906550

That is a rare car…
Theo would be the closest -- but if the seller is in Mendocino, that's a ~2.5-3 hour drive from the Bay Area...
