My brother who has not had a car for a while because he seldom needs one, mentioned this. I thought it was interesting.

I guess I don't really understand how that makes sense vs. a rental car. It's a cheap rental to park in front of your house, but that 49 cents per mile is going to add up fast if you're renting to use it.
