Ah, thanks, but no such plans.

Let me clarify my above post. The cracks/pops come on when 'Sport' is pressed. They are accentuated if the PSE is also on. Interestingly, Sport Plus with the exhaust off, deletes them. So I have a few modes of driving:
- Normal (civilized, long trips, town etc)
- Normal + PSE (for some childish reason need some extra noise)
- Sport Plus no PSE (spirited stuff)

Sport & Sport Plus give heftier (to me better) steering and also lower oil temperatures (from 210-215 to about 195F), sharper throttle response and lowered stability safety net.

I keep asking myself whether I "need" the M Performance exhaust for my car. Would be nice to have a little more growl. But I would not be able to turn it on and off, which could get annoying in a convertible. Plus, it adds no real performance to the car--just noise.

For what it's worth, the M-performance exhaust on the 535i is a complete positive. At no point does it intrude or drone, just a bark on start-up but even stock is a bit loud when first turned on. Of course, that's a very quiet car, n55 vs. b58 and MPPSK may be a different beast... That said, if I knew if the MPPSK for my f30 b58 was similar in sound to the f10 n55; I would do it. I kind of miss it.

You can’t, though often the buyer will indicate that reserve is met to gig additional bidding.

Ugh those wheels do not match that era car. At all. Makes me wonder what other questionable decisions the seller may have made.

Yeah I saw that today, I looked at the Hendricks bmw website and I don’t see it listed there. After reading into Bat it says they don’t do second auctions so I wonder how they will end up selling this one. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone who saw this auction calls and tries to make a deal.

I wonder if the dudes at Hendricks added the "cost" of the collection visit and tour to the price they wanted for the car. Maybe they thought it was "The Price is Right" rules and you were bidding on the package

I have not followed other I8's, but someone pointed out that all auctions at BAT for I8's have not met reserve, so there must be a big disconnect between potential buyers and sellers
