Opinons on the NY Auto Show
My son & I will be in Manhattan while the show is going on. Is it worth attending? Does BMW typically have a owners lounge?

If you're going to be in NYC anyways, might as well go to it.
I've been the past few years and don't recall seeing a BMW owner's lounge.

I went once -- 13 years ago I think. I've also been to Geneva ('92), Detroit ('01), and Frankfurt ('05).
If you've never been, go. I still am mad at myself for not realizing that I was in Tokyo the same week as the '07 show opened -- but my flight home was on opening day. Had I known, I would have stayed one more night and gone to the show!

Yes, it's worth going to. Not as impressive as Detroit, but a cut above DC.
Detroit didn't have a BMW owner's lounge this year, so I doubt there would be one in New York. VW did, though... |

Sure, if you're in the city, go. No owner's lounge though, and it gets crowded mid-day.
Your son will love it. |

I have heard that as well. Not sure I believe it, but then again F15 production begins in August. It will be fairly larger, a true 7 passenger SAV.

Done... I spent the additional money and pre-purchased tix to get in an hour (9am) before it opens to the public at 10. Last edited by SCA; 03-19-2013 at 01:10 PM. |

If the new X is much bigger than the old one, we wouldn't be interested.
