This, and how long until someone kills themselves in Moab with this power

Yes. Two disappointments: manual is 2.3L four only (which I kind of expected), and two-door is removable hardtop only.

It will sell bigly.

I can see tons of buyers opting for it if can be as useful as the Explorer.

The 2.3 is with a turbo, no? If so, doesn't its output in the 290-300 HP range?

Finally seeing it and reading about it. Ford hit it out of the park.

I'm still a sucker for the Wrangler styling, but it looks pretty damn good with clear cues to legacy. The factory options are going to make people drool. Definitely plenty of "shut up and take my money" people will be in line for this. Ford and dealers are going to make a killing on this for years before demand subsides.

The marketing is great too. GOAT, Sasquatch, Badlands, etc.? "That's gold, Jerry. Gold!"

Best Bronco trim breakdown I've seen so far.

Love the look of the leather in the Outer Banks trim.

I agree they did a great job with this from what I can see so far. Looks great, seems like the specs and equipment are solid, and the marketing and branding aspect is spot on too. They might have a home run here as long as they don’t screw up the actual rollout. I have zero actual need for something like this but despite that I started wondering “what if?” after looking at some of the coverage last night.

We would definitely buy one. The styling is really cool. But this morning husband said "it will only tow 3,500 pounds, so I just saved $50k".

Funny, some at the LR4 board are complaining that the new Defender also only tows 3,500lbs. The LR4 can do 8,000lbs. There are some pretty whacky photos of people towing gigantic boat and RV trailers with the LR4.

I'd love to have one and go off roading. Heck, I'd love to off-road our LR4 too. There just isn't anything remotely close by to warrant it. Also the LR4 has held up beautifully and it's an excellent, comfortable long trip car, so I don't wanna mess with it.

But I'd love one of these (or a Wrangler).
