I've had a number of them fail (which is fine, whatever, as long as they fail off), one of them failed on and boiled a battery so badly that it left puddles of acid around it.

CTEKs do pretty well for me, aside from the shitty control button.

I have and recommend the CTEK 4.3. Good for everything but Lithium.

Even as I more miles on bikes than cars, they still sit for 4-5 months of the year and their batteries take a beating, especially the larger v-twins for some reason.

The battery tender worked fine even with the Lithium battery I had in the BMW. No reason it shouldn't - the charge voltage coming from a vehicle's alternator has poorer regulation than a maintenance charger.

Neat color on this one, and I guess the "30 Jahre" badging is cool, but otherwise this is just a nice 964 C4.

And it's selling for $150K+.

I looked at a 964 C4 for a friend in 2004. It was 25 to 30k, IIRC, super clean condition. Around 2012, a neighbor sold his "driver", 100k mile-ish 1990 C4 for $18k... Those were the days.

This is the 50th anniversary car. $109k for a PDK car with a spec probably not too far off from yours.

Today, Alan learned that a 912 is not a 911 .

If it really was a 70's 912, the one with the VW Van engine, $40k is doing pretty good.
