It was a friend of mine's first new car.

What i remember about it was its spartan interior with little sound insulation and lots of bare metal surfaces. I think it may have even had 12 inch wheels, but at the very least, they were 13's. An honest and fun car, with nothing wasted.

As for the "slow car fast" thing, that's how many of the cars I grew up with were ... cars today are absolutely nuts in this regard, with sub 4 second 0-60's and huge power. Back then, muscle cars were turning in 6 second 0-60's, and that was fast!
