I'm curious....do you know the actual number, both raw and as a percentage of overall sales?

So back in December there were about 4k worth of credits and rebates. Combine that will a well negotiated ED for another 9k or so plus good residuals and low interest rates and you have the makings for some really good deals.

Wow I wish I could do ED but I'm going to wait until my kids are out of the house for that one ...

My Brother just got a price today on a car similar to mine for a 24 month lease w/ 12k miles a yr in the low $900 range (MSRP was $72k)

Mine is about $100 less per month though I only have 10k miles per yr ...

Agreed ... anyone knocking a 528 hasn't driven a car with that engine. I drove a 328 with the same engine last week and there is no doubt that is one hell of an engine ...

Pretty sure if I pulled up to a light with my 535 that 328 would have been faster and BTW more fun to drive ... not knocking my 5er but I love the feel of a smaller sports sedan.

Yeah I think the 328 and 535 have identical 0-60 times with the 528 a half second behind.

I have to add to this post since getting my new 550 ... whatever BMW did to their last update my goodness it has made the 5er so much more of a drivers car ...

The suspension and the steering are so much better then it used to be, I have this option called 'adaptive drive' which I never would have thought would make such a difference but between the suspension/steering changes and the insane Horsepower (445hp) this car is so much more of what you expect from a 5 series. It handles, it feels tossable and OMG it is so freaking fast !!

One other thing ... the sport automatic transmission shifts incredibly fast ... it makes this cool bleep noise/feel when shifting reminds me of the AMG's. My 535 had the sport transmission but it was nothing like this ...

Overall this is the best sedan I ever purchased ... anyone considering a F10 make sure it's a 2014 or newer ...

(BTW I am posting almost the same thread over on the fest) pic below ... new and old together !!

Nope. Alan's car should have the newer motor with the turbos moved.

Bren, I'm not sure what model has the engine problem your talking about but I do know they made some changes to the 550 engine for models 2014 and newer ... Mine is a 2015 so hopefully Zach is right and I don't have that problem.

The N63 is the engine Bren is referring to. The N63TU which you have in your new 550i is the improved V8tt.
