Car arrives at the dealership this Saturday. That is exactly 5 weeks from drop-off. Not bad at all. Very excited.

Not excited at the cost to insure the M3.

No idea. They typically are.

But for reference, with similar coverage:

2011 Miata: $900
2013 LR4: $1100
2015 eGolf: $1450 ( but going away in January)
2018 M3: $2300

I'd like to think that, but the LR4 was somewhat close in price to the M3 and it was never more than $1200 or so.

Despite the completely insane repair costs on my last model S, insurance has largely been in line with what I was paying on my 2008 535.
