Those are silly performance numbers for the price. But we knew this. |

the torque numbers look unimpressive.
oh well. sign me up. wait......i already am. 'been driving the z06 daily now for a few days and it's still an amazing vehicle. it is hard to imagine a car that is faster --the uncommunicative chassis criticism of the c6 bothers me. i already experienced that firsthand in a Z51 spec car. are we impressed with the braking numbers? they could suck mainly because of the runflats.....

it's probably in the ballpark of the exotics but i bet those runflats keep it out of the top 3 for that metric. (i bet the elise takes less distance..... )

nope
Braking 70-0 mph : 1) Ferrari Challenge Stradale : 160 ft. 2) Caterham Super 7 Superlight : 163 ft. 3) Noble M12 GTO-3R : 165 ft. 4) Dodge Viper SRT-10 : 166 ft. 5) Porsche GT3 : 168 ft. 6) Lotus Elise : 170 ft. 7) Hona S2000 : 171 ft. 7) Mitsubishi Evolution RS : 171 ft. 9) Dodge SRT-4 : 185 ft. the MR edition of the Evo came in the best I've seen at 158 ft The elise is penalized I'm sure by its skinny stock tires. I do assume the Z06 will be that much better on non-runflats, but you have to think the runflats are doing pretty well to get a .98g skidpad result too the Z06 tires are almost twice as wide as the elise's
