You'd think that they could just have the raw openings and either have the purchaser get kidneys for an older, more sensible BMW model or just buy a nunch from BMW.

But... The Bimmer Spinner people found out the hard way thay buying genuine parts from BMW, modifying and reselling them got them into trouble with BMW.

And before anyone goes "Spinners? Yuck!" they aren't traditional spinners - they just always put the roundel caps "right side up" on all wheels when you park.

The M3 looks bad from the back, too. I swear it looks like it has a prolapsed rectum.

Yeah, what's with the bulbous lower rear?

Also, the wheels where definitely too easy to clean, so I am glad they added more crevices.

Hate it. But probably we’ll all develop a thick skin about it toward the end of the model run. And then rail about the next, all-electric model. And go buy the ugly ICE, because it’s the last of its kind.

I agree on this one. There's a difference between evolutionarily worse and flat out ugly.

I've never warmed up to an Aztek or an X6. That front end isn't going to get less difficult to look at over time.

Wow, I really think that rear end may be just as bad as the front. YIKES

I'm not offended by the rear in the same way that the front is annoying.
