And you park them on the street. I would never wash them

The Giulia and M3 sleep inside. They were only out front so that our daughter could change the oil in her GTI. She had just finished when I took the pic. They are back in the garage.

Not pictured is the 2006 Mercedes C280, also black.

Also, note the only automatic in that pic is the Giulia.

My GMC lives outside. We are surrounded by oak and pine trees. My bed liner is green right now, and due to it not being a smooth surface I will have to drag out the power washer soon as the windshield tells me the pollen has stopped.

I wear an N95 when mowing the lawn last month and this month

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever own a black car. It's too difficult to keep it clean, dents are easily seen and it gets wicked hot inside on a bright, sunny day.

My 325i and Sienna are both white. My beater is a darker shade of teal.

I'd like my next car to be similar to BMW's LeMans Blue or British Racing Green.

What’s the provenance of the Mercedes? And it’s a stick, too?

I said this after owning a 1979 black Chevy C10 van.

But then last decade in Seattle I saw, test drove and bought an Audi S4 in black (at least, unlike the van, it fit in my garage)

That was my mom's car which we took away from her last summer. It's still in her name. It's a non-sport C280 automatic. It drives like a Buick. It has no redeeming qualities other than being low-mileage for it's age (91K miles) and having been relatively well maintained.

I just checked and I have ZERO pics of the car on my phone. But here's another one that looks exactly like it.

Ah. Well, someone would love that car. But I understand the need not to get rid of it...True self-driving cars will be a major boon for the elderly.
