I know it's a unicorn but that's a great opening bid.

Thoughts on final price. I think new they were what, 70?
I say 40. They're cool cars, no doubt, and rare to boot...but not 60k cool and rare.

Right. And there was some funkiness about VIN stickers and a repainted door, so EAG wouldn't bite.

maybe its the engine and not the platform you've grown tired of?

I only like the shorties but that's still pretty cool.

Even sacrilegious cars this like are demanding big money these days.

I love that car. It's probably a blast to drive. I drove an E30 M3 once that was traded in at get this a Nissan dealership. Must have been the later 90's. Love the look and the handling but not the power. SLOW!

It's sacrilege. Plus, it's red. Boo.

I mean, it was once the best car ever made in the universe, ever, and its loud, clattery, vibrating drivetrain was just the icing on the cake that was an amazing chassis, one that read your mind and just made you smile from the moment you turned the ignition.

...But, I guess, even then, this car was still red.

I followed it... blow by blow.
It had just a few too many unknowns... Plus being in Florida, I couldn't get past our 'Only in Florida' thread. lol

Seriously - It seemed like a nice car, but just a bit too close to what I already have. Same engine - same interior - same same same.

But - the M5 is (or would be) worth looking into....
Keep in touch on that one. You have my number.
