No idea why the pictures are sideways but if you click it seems to straighten out
Nice. I would appreciate a compare / contrast of the 3 BMWs in the family when you have a few minutes.

Do you have a Merc SUV too?

No Mercedes, currently the SUV count is now up to 3 ... we have a Audi Q5 & Q7.

"Oscar" is not my car, but I get to drive him at autocrosses for the rest of the season. Oscar doesn't make much power, but he's very fast. And very fun.

Today was the first day I got to drive him. And...wow. I have a lot to learn and relearn. More later.

(And the Camaro in the background is the one I didn't buy in October, but friends bought last week.)

A vehicle I don't post much about - but does what I need....

Bought it in 2006 with about 25,000 miles. No, I don't drive it too much - but with the load it can carry - as well as pull, it has served me well. I will be taking it down to CA to get the E9 'soon' - LOL - if that car ever is finished.

Right now - it is pulling around a 14k# dump trailer as we take debris out in prep for selling my old place. I am toying with getting a 'newer' Ford PSD, but... with as good as this one does, coupled with how much $$ the new(er) truck are priced... I just might keep the 2003 Ford F250 a while longer....

Cheers

7.3 diesel, correct? yeah don't part with it. It's the most reliable diesel out there

No - it is the 6.0L (2003.5 model year, right after the switch).
Working ok so far (some work done to it, but not needed much).

I had no issues with (2) 6.0L engines. Both were purchased and cared for new, but the one in my F550 I did purchase the Ford 250K mile, 12 year extended motor warranty (which was transferable to the person I sold it to)

Embracing the junkyard dog/teutonic rat rod vibe as it ages and wears and gets rough around the edges.
