Where was he being defensive and what corners were cut? I read all of his responses and I didn't get that vibe.

I love Estoril but a Dove interior is a complete deal-killer. Odd that it has a 5-speed and not a 6-speed. I have to imagine there is no possible way to get this to pass a Maryland emissions check.

5 speed v 6 speed, DME zip tied, etc. Seller explained the latter by saying “I didn’t realize I needed a Z3 harness,” which on the one hand, fine, but on the other hand suggests neither he nor the shop really did encyclopedic research before diving in? I don’t know, maybe I’m being too critical.

Also based on the notes it seems like maybe it doesn’t have a washer tank at the moment? And the AC doesn’t work, which to me seems like a detail you’d want to iron out.

There are a couple of E-Type Jags on BaT, which reminds me to ask you guys...

Am I the only person in the world for whom that car does nothing? I don't find it all that a attractive, but it's supposed to be one of the best-look of all time. I don't get it.

The AM's, MB's, BMW's, Alfa's, 'vettes, and even Mazdas and Toyotas of yore do more for me.

I always loved the E type and do find it to be beautiful though it is a real piece a crap of a car and would never want one.

The E-Type is gorgeous. Even if it’s a hunk of junk.

I think so.

Also, aren't you the only person in the world that bought a Saaburu?

Perhaps, but purely because it was a better looking, better optioned, cheaper Subaru.

Anyhow. Glad to confirm I am alone on this.

And for the record, I am not saying it's ugly, it's just "meh." I do like the convertible more than the coupe. And for what it's worth, I feel the same way about similar looking Ferraris.
