Ha true. Maybe I'm weird but I kind of like manufacturing mistakes like this where a manufacturer puts the wrong badge, trim piece, etc on. Somehow makes the car a little more special. That being said, I wouldn't be happy with most other manufacturing flaws (misaligned body panels, paint flaws, missing bolts, trim, etc)

I went down the McLaren road and was chasing one which I posted here many years ago but then I started reading that McLaren doesn’t like to warranty issues and it scared me out of ever considering one.

If that’s changed I definitely would consider one.
