Taycan Cross Country With Under 210 Minutes Charging Time
https://rennlist.com/articles/taycan...-world-record/
Not bad... Yes, it was hypermiling, but still.

Sometime last week and due to boredom I was on Porsche‘s website and began to build a Taycan. I lost interest rather quickly. For whatever reason I just cannot get on board, at least not currently.

I wouldn’t call them great. They’re fine, but vastly overpriced and just don’t feel that special.

I think that this is interesting not because the Taycan is interesting, but showing that the whole range/charging anxiety issues that everyone seems obsessed with are rapidly going away.

When I look at what's out there in the world of 4 door vehicles, I'm not seeing much that's the same price or cheaper than the base Taycans yet would also feel more special. The only candidates I can think of would be the high performance variants of compact executive cars (such as the M3, C63, Guilia Quad etc). But i think i'd rather daily drive a Taycan..plus to my eyes the Taycan looks more unqiue/special. One thing that really stuck with me from my test drive was how good the suspension tuning is...soaks up bumps yet still handles really well. You don't find that on too many cars and also helps make it feel special. The interior certainly looks special albeit a bit challengine in terms of usability.
