You've always had interests in old defenders. That would scratch the different, need wrenching, cool factor and 4ppl transporter reqds

Yeah, the problem is that both old Defenders and old G wagens (which would be my preference) are like 911s, price-wise; there aren’t really any cheap ones left.

But how would cost of ownership Calc out? I assume depreciation would be negligible so it would just be the cash tied up while you had it. Might even make some money if you didn't put too many miles on it.
