I think the 718s are really engineered to perform with the PDK transmissions. They are also fastest in that configuration, and it best suits the nature of the high-tech engine.

It seems a little strange to test the TT with DSG (and, I presume, an LSD), a M2 with a stick (and an LSD), and a 718s with a stick and no LSD--and no Sport Chrono.

I don't think you can get the TT-RS with a stick but yeah the no LSD on the Porsche is strange.

I think so too from an engagement standpoint, but not necessarily from a performance standpoint.

Couldn't ever spend that money on any Audi which shares a platform with the Golf.

We made fun of GM in the 80s for branding cars. This isn't super different.

The TT-RS, S3 and RS3 look downmarket to me.
