I'm toying of the idea of an AWD Tesla to replace the wagon as my winter car.
So yes, please wait for the AWD and let me know how you like it. |

First one I’ve seen in person.
In the metal it looks a lot more like a Model S than in the pictures; the proportions work a lot better. It’s not as dramatic as the Model S, which is both really wide and low, but it’s a nice looking car. This one had a state inspection sticker for October, which suggests it’s an early employee car. |

Some dude's review after he drove it cross country.
tldr; other than autopilot sucking, he likes the car. http://www.thedrive.com/new-cars/172...serious-review |

The front end is pretty bland for my taste.

It is better in person. The front end in pics either looks super bland or looks like someone that stuffed a gym sock down their shorts.
In person, the level of surface detail is a much better balance. It doesn't look bland. |

Makes the Model S look interesting because it’s homely looking.
You know what Boxster owners don’t have to answer much anymore? “Why didn’t you get a 911?” The obvious answer is “so why did you forego the Model S?”

The point being: Tesla has enough issues with their flagship car. So it’s actually risky to buy their car which is being made to a certain price point. And no real dealer network for warranty issues (yet) for the “car for the masses”.
