There is a rumor floating around that the 992.2 is going to be further delayed. My friend that is a Porsche tech at Atlanta service owned by PCNA has stated that he would not be at all surprised as they are still having difficulty getting parts for repairs. Constraints are still an issue.

There is a good argument that PAG/VAG is not really in a hurry to launch it due to continued strong demand for the current 992.1 and they intend to milk it for as long as they can. Who knows… |

Interesting… The closest test track for Zuffenhausen production appears to be at Porsche engineering in Weissach. The shortest distance from Zuffenhausen is 15 miles, 24.1 km.

GT3RS is certainly radical! I can see the appeal of trying one out and I think you’re unlikely to lose money on it, so in some sense why not. I do tend to think that it won’t be that much fun outside a track environment, but you all have way better roads out there than I do so maybe not.
Still…I think it it were me for that kind of money I’d rather have a used Cup car that I could take on track days. |

I was looking at 991.2 GT3RS and even the dealer was horrified at how costly it is to maintain such a car after true track use. I’m prob likely to do Manthey upgrade for the GT3, but am tracking price trends for a track mule now too. PECLA time has given me the bug.

It appears Shark Blue for the 992 has possibly gone NLA sooner than anticipated. Multiple individuals with commission numbers are being declined the color as well as additional colors.

The enhanced damping and superior steering and rear end ratio (shorter) make it the car most of us really wanted. Otherwise the GT3 Touring is a meh proposition to me. It’s just a GT3 without a wing. Which is fine, but zero interest for a lot of us. Now, if the GT3 (with wing or Touring) is a keeper for anyone, then just do the rear end ratio upgrade yourself. And live with the steering and RAS as is. The frippery of the carbon composite fenders is Uber nice, but it is still mostly lost on me.
