It's a little awkward-looking, compared to the NSX. but the NSX lost me when it went to fixed headlights.

It's depressing how Nissan used to do such cool stuff but basically makes nothing interesting these days. Same with Mitsubishi. Even Mazda, to a degree.

Regarding the Z concept, or the 400Z or whatever it ends up being called, I'm not a buyer. But I'm glad they're trying.

The olde grille is split by a bumper; making it easier on the eyes. The new Z grille is like the new 7-series. Oversized and hideous.

It's not remotely as bad as the X7. I think there are two problems with the grille on the Z, though, neither of which is solved by tacking on a body-colored crossbar. I'm sure you've seen photos of S30 race cars where the bumpers have been removed - they look badass.

1) it's too tall and 2) it doesn't sweep back enough from the top of the bumper to the bottom.

Someone rendered the image below. It's certainly "of a style" and too ricer-ish for my taste with the wing and canards, but adding the splitter and accentuating the lip spoiler I think helps a bit.

That's a lot better on the front. I'm not interested in the additional aero and I'm not interested in a race car look, s30 or not. (Actually the association that car has with that douche Adam Carolla is a negative to me)

Yeah I had the live video intro on YouTube going in the background on until they cut to him. Then I shut it off.

The 400Z looks really good in this video (long video).

Magnus Walker got a look at it. Check out the Saran Wrap they put on the tires.

The color of the car in this video and all of the release photos makes it seem like a fungus. I think it would do Nissan better to show the car in that old Datsun Racing Green.
