Do you really think that happens naturally?

Wouldn't you really rather try a ZHP vert? (hint hint ).

You guys should set it up, since I'm farthest out here in southwestern CT - I'd be willing to drive over to Bear Mountain or some such place to a meet.

Is Cold Spring NY a far drive for you guys (it's a cool little town - the location for films like Hello Dolly and A Letter To Three Wives and right across from West Point)

When you say, "In today's ultra-competitive touring class, FWD cars do quite well indeed - Acuras, Mazda3's etc. door handle to door handle with BMW's, the new Caddy's and AWD Audis," do you believe that is based on the merits of the cars and their drivers?

Why are you being so cryptic? Just say what you mean.

If you take exception to my statement, tell me why - the onus is on you.

i think there is a distinction to be made for FWD in general --as i've come to hate it and short wheelbase FWD. it's intuitive to understand the difference.

short wheelbase FWD platforms 'can' be made to rotate. the physics are not as easy as for RWD platforms, but it is a noticeable difference from run of the mill long wheelbase FWD.

I assume you mean "rotate under acceleration" - otherwise, a FWD car, with all that weight bias toward the front, can rotate quite easily indeed - a little throttle lift into turn can do the trick.
