Yea, big numbers on some models but not too surprising given supply chain issues and inflation. Also feel like some of this is proactively “baking in” some additional margin so if the car market starts to soften and they need to turn up the dial again on incentives, some of that is baked into the price so they can keep their current stronger margins.

I mean, ~15% inflation over 2-3 years seems in line with what’s going on in the world these days.

As I have stated multiple times, not at all surprising to me if that is the actual case. If my G87 build comes close to what my specs would be for G80/G82 then I might hold tight and wait for the M3/M4 LCI and hope that they rectify the front end.

*Edit, Some are speculating that the base price for the G87 will be around $70k. I am fairly confident I would walk if that turns out to be true. I much rather locate a 15-16 991.1, manual C2S for that kind of money.

Being I have seen the new front at my office everyday ( my partners M440 conv,) and literally parked next to myM550 and my sons M340 I think it is really looking good and yes I want the new idrive 8 in my next bmw.

I frankly never see my front grill. I am either driving the car or parked so tight in the garage, I can’t see it. Plus, with black and shadow line, it is much more stealth.
