NJ Pro Spring Nats (both) Toledo Pro Finale/Nats I also want to do Pittsburgh Match and the Bristol Match and Champ Tours, but I'd cut them pretty easily. If time and other things made them possible, I'd add Ft Myers and Oscoda Pros (and possibly swap Pitt for Blytheville Pro) and maybe Charlotte Match. I wouldn't really expect myself to be "happier" in a turbo Camaro, which would also be pretty low spec, but it would be different that where I'm at. Going in with a 1-2 year expectation would help offset any negatives if it seems like a mistake quickly. And I could get out and correct without losing a lot of money if it was that bad.

I'm planning on: Dixie Tour (don't think I'll ever miss this one again, might have been my favorite event all year) NJ Pro Toledo Pro Oscoda Pro Finale / Nats The "maybe" list includes Bristol, Spring Nats (both) and the Toledo Tour. |

A turbo Camaro can be had for what now, $15-20k? This makes sense? |

The 1LE I just linked is a fantastic price, but I've seen a couple other sub $40k used 1LEs in the past couple months. This is the first '18, though. Quote:

On paper, the 1LS is the right car. The 1LT add weight and stuff. Not sure how much, though. The problem with used 1LSs is there aren't very many of them. I wouldn't want to pay more than about $16k for a 2016 1LS, but would go as much as $17k this weekend just to get it done if my wife said "ok" in a "i really mean it's ok" kind of way and not in a "do whatever the fuck you want, but don't expect me to be happy about it" kind of way. But that's not going to happen this weekend so I should stop thinking that it could.

Was thinking about this on the way home. I paid about $27k for it new in January 2013 and it’ll hit 68k next week or the week after. At a $12k trade or maybe $13.5k private sale, that’s pretty close to 45%-50% range. I think my original planning assumed 35% at this point (because, you know, Ford and Focus) with a little less mileage. So, that’s good.

As long as the Miata or Jag is gone first. And I throw out, sell, or give away a bunch of shit from around the house. First. Plus, she reserves the right to make fun of me and my douchey Camaro in front of or behind my back with friends, family and neighbors. In other words, as long as I pay for it, she has no objection.
