Based on Canada's pricing, I think you're pretty low on the out-the-door price. Whether it would have been profitable at that price or not,

I expect they would have sold quite a few, yes. But two orders of magnitude more than in Canada? I doubt it.

No! Canada's pricing is NOT an accurate measure. Canada just bought some EU cars at EU pricing and sold them in Canada.

Seriously, what makes people think that a Euro motor E36 M3 would need to sell for $10-15k more than an E46 M3?
