Btw, i love my 4 way seats in my 991 T. Some of my favorite seats ever.

And JMJ, Bose is expensive.

Congrats and I love the gold wheels btw. I always play around with adding that option on the configurator.

yeah, tbh, I kinda think the rear seat delete in the T to "save weight" is kinda silly. No big deal if you're ordering on from new since its easy to check the box...but definitley makes it harder to find one so-equipped when shopping used.

Bose has definitely crept up in price but atleast its back as an option- for a while you couldn't get it on the base or T. I kinda suspend all disbelief when I'm on the Porsche configurator...I just accept that everything will cost 3x what it would anywhere else (or be an option when it would be standard on a 25k civic).

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the real weight savings would be the 4 ways/CF buckets versus the 14 way seats, no?

The lightweight glass is a nothing burger.

Yep- i'd think the front seat choice would make a bigger difference (as would adding a sunroof). To that point, I have come across 911Ts specced with 14 ways seats and sunroof but rear seat delete. Kinda silly.

Yes.

It’s cognitive dissonance. As if the owner misunderstood the point of the car?

I keep waiting to see a head to head (acceleration and lap times) between 991 T and 992 T.

I am sitting on my 991 T for the time being because it’s hard to conceive (at the moment) that the upgrade is tremendous.

It's basically the same engine, transmission, weight, etc. So i'd be surprised if there any noticeable improvement in acceleration between the 2.

The overall expense is more than double with ttt and I am uncertain if it is really worth it. The G87 is currently getting very high praise from Chris Harris and if we recall Chris sold his 992 GT3 rather quickly and kept his 991.2 GT3. Word is Chris purchased the photographed G87 below. See his comment as well.

FYI, The gold wheels are a “bug” within Porsche’s system as they are not even offered, at least not currently.
