That's Andy's 325i. Approx 230k miles and going on strong! Yeah!
I brought it to Johnson for corner weighting and alignment on Tuesday. Spent 6 hours at the shop! Tech refused to accept a 50.2% cross ratio. But eventually gave in at 50.1%. Talk about a dedicated tech. And drove the car from Torrance to Arcadia around 4pm. Imagine the traffic and all...and me driving a stick shift. This 325i has a diff of 3.93. Will be changed out to 3.23 over the next few days. Also a Sparco seat will be installed just in time for Buttonwillow. I have to say this though...the E36 drives very well. I almost forgot how it felt since the last E36 320i (I-6 mind you) I drove in Singapore. I drove this E36 325i for a day or two, then back to driving my E46. Verdict? The E46 felt kinda weird. Oh wait...that stupid throttle lag. Now...where's that estoril blue M3/4 I was looking at.... |
