I saw this one on the way home on Monday night:

Makes me wonder if they have a Harley with FONZI also...

That's really very cool, actually, but I imagine that there's a zero percent chance you'd be able to get out of a ticket for not having a front plate running one of those. It wouldn't bug me so much except that they nail you for parking on the street without valid tags in DC and Alexandria (ask me how I know).

No front plate on the M3. And I'll take off the front plate on the R as soon as the "BumperPlugs" arrive (they already drilled).

I don't understand why any state still requires 2 plates... AZ changed to a 1-plate state roughly 30 years ago...

I wonder if I can transfer the black and white plates that are on the M3 to the R and then get CCA tags for the M3.

Makes it easier to find a car when you're looking for it. Shows up in more photos or videos at/near the scene of a crime. Allows cameras pointed against the flow of traffic for photo enforcement and other surveillance (not sure if any California red light cameras are like this any more, but in the early years, the photo had to show the front tag and face of the driver...and photos taken were occasionally used to place people at/near the scenes of crimes as well).

And the lack of a front tag gives cops an excuse to pull over any car at any time that does't have one. Plus, all the tickets for missing front tags generate are free money for the state.
