Yeah, price list is accurate. When all was said and done, to inspect/fix/refinish all four BBSs, dispose of the old S03s that were on there, and mount and balance the PA2s, it ended up being north of $900 for me. That doesn't include the cost of the PA2s.

It's a lot of money. But it's a lot cheaper than a new set of BBSs. And the work really is impressive.

You know, you could probably find a beater Civic to use on bad weather days for less than that.

I already have my MCS for that. This just lets me have some semblance of grip on cold days and means I won't get stranded if I get surprised by snow somewhere.

The tires actually feel pretty reasonable... less mushy than the Blizzaks felt on my E46. Of course, any errant twitch on the go pedal flashes the DSC lights like Studio 54.

I also never thought 18s would look small on a 1 series... but they do, relative to the stock 19s.

Motorweek has an extended review of your car, in your color online. Enjoy

Yeah, the snow won't have anything to do with that car getting you stranded. Again. But now in crappy weather.

Is this what they call "Win!"?

You know, I am really starting to think I should pick up one of the straggler copies.

I expect the new M3 to further the level of awesomeness - with 4 doors.

If so I will really be tempted. As is, the 1M is simply too small and impractical for my needs.

I don't know FC, I still think sporty cars need to top out at a certain size before becoming something else- to me, the E46 is about the upper limit. One of the reasons the current M3 never had appeal to me is it's just too big. The new car is even larger.

Everyone on this board should own one. I'm surprised I'm the only one.
