4 bent rims 20" anyone else?

I'm debating whether to put my 20's back on in the spring to use up the 4S's, or just sell them while they're still like-new

I don't see a need to have 20's on this car. I really like the look of the 18" snows wheels I bought. I wish they made a 19" version.

The roads you have to drive on? Get rid of the 20's and don't look back.

There's gotta be some nice forged 19's that fit. And get the money for your barely used 20" set. Too bad about the PS4S's, you'll have to buy another set.

Then again, you've commuted and not had the problem. So is this forum-induced paranoia? Maybe you should wait to bend one or two wheels, fix'em, get angry about it and then swap to 19's.

If you were to sell the 20” wheels would you switch out the tires on the 18’s each spring and winter ?

Winter tires are great in the cold temps but when it warms up they get a mushy feel.

Yeah, I'd get new summer wheels & tires for sure.

Maybe I should keep the 20's to sell to people* when they bend theirs.

*I originally wrote "to JST" but that seemed too cruel.

How much does supercharging cost? Is it even comparable to the point someone with a working brain would even think about it?

Yeah, we knew. That was the twitter fight Elon had with some guy named Fred who runs a tesla blog.

Fred: This price drop is BS and punishes early adopters
Elon: But you got free supercharging
Fred: That's BS. You used to charge just $2k for free supercharging
Elon: Fine, if you want to give up free supercharging you can have your $5k back

BOOM. And he followed through.

Supercharging depends on how much you use it. I will almost never use it, so it's worth nearly zero to me. But even if you use it a lot it would be hard to use up $5k worth. It's also not transferable if you sell the car.

Now guess who is pissed off and won't stop complaining - those who didn't buy the $5k performance upgrade package. With this refund they will have paid the same* as the people who ordered the PUP, but they don't get the package.

*Minus taxes. They don't seem to be refunding taxes.

This is a hilarious way to buy a car.

Also many Tesla owners are whiny babies
