My understanding of the pros and cons are:

Pro: a little faster

Con: more noise up front

I no longer live in the sun belt

Should be slightly faster and possibly more range (they are quoting the same range, but the Model S dual motors get about 8-10% more range.

I’ve driven dual motor S as loaners and really don’t notice the additional motor noise. But the traction is better..l
