Wow, that color combo is, um... something.

In other news, my Porsche dealer buddy says they're expecting Q1 allocation numbers next week. I don't expect to hear good news (though honestly I'd like as late of an allocation as possible) but it'll be interesting to learn how many cars are coming to the US.

ND2? IIRC those don't have a red dash? Not nearly as gaudy as this.

Didn't say they had them...just that it makes me think of them.

Yes. I agree that's weird.

Totally unrelated, but I like this manual Cayman (981) on the PCA Mart: https://mart.pca.org/ads/54196

Did your friend ever let you know if there were allocations released ? I'm on 2 different waiting lists for the 992 and one salesman said none are being released until April and the other said it is a possibility

Seems overpriced if it's not an S. The base cars are fun too, though the 981 vs. 987.2 decision becomes harder with them. The 987.2 2.9 has slightly more torque and has better gearing. The 981S at least didn't lose torque. All are good though.

I am going to not think about these cars until spring, and then see if there is hope for a more normal 2023 as far as allocations. I would be happy to take spring delivery of a NA Boxster in 2023 - ideally in Germany.
