John V - Go to the driving impressions part of the Savagegeese YouTube I posted. I have NEVER heard a Toyota sound better!!
I watched it. It sounds okay, but not $100k okay.

Every review gushes over it.
I drove an Evora when they first came out 11 years ago. It was a couple months before I got my Boxster. I liked it, but the interior is pretty spartan. The tiny rear seats came in handy (we actually had 4 adults inside for about 10 min one evening -- those in back were very cramped and I had to pull the drivers seat up way too close to the steering wheel to give them leg room)...

Here's a link to MotoMan's review from back then -- that's the car I drove: https://youtu.be/V9sVgbhsUiM

I do kind of find Mark (bald guy) to be annoying and repetitive, but overall I like the content and somehow watch their videos even on cars I could care less about.

I think you guys are thinking of the new EMIRA not the Evora. It seems like an amazing car for the $$$. It is totally worth cross shopping (on paper) from the 718 derivatives:

https://www.lotuscars.com/en-US/model/emira

If you don't want the toyota v6, you can get the I-4 from the mercedes A45 amg

I was literally talking about the Evora. It’s in the YouTube link. I know about the Emira also.

They bring that up in the review, about how its a majorly different car now. Way better interior and obviously a lot more power.

The evora is dead. The Emira is a big step forward in interior materials, total performance, etc.

well in that case, you guys should check out the Emira. I think it would be worth a consideration in comp to Boxsters/Caymans.

and its not DOA.... might be Lotus vaporware, but definitely not dead.
