We had very few issues with it until year 5. Partly because I drove my M3 in good weather. Years 5-7, however, some expensive things started to go. The Platinum warranty ended up paying for itself and more. That memory is part of the reason my ex dumped our F15 50i at four years; and why I bought a Mazda this time around as my long haul keeper for a practical car ![]() My 2 is off warranty next month, but I will just “self-insure” that car. It has just 16k miles at four years old. (Knock wood.) |

I'm about 28 miles from the plant, if you come down here for a PC delivery you better let me know first. We'll find someplace nice for dinner, or something

BMW used to have three major BMW plants in Germany: Munich, Regensburg, and Dingolfing. Not sure if that’s changed. Some 3 series used to come from the South Africa plant. Edit: Here we go. But almost 2 years out of date... https://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/...bmw-made-.html |

I was there in Nov 2016 and remember seeing the E30 M3 and that you had mentioned at some point it was yours. It looked great. They had Elvis’ 507 on display when I was there too.
