my "MyFord" X plan website is usually good at locating vehicles. That said, the website shows 5-6 vehicles ordered for the dealer a few miles from my house, and that 4 are already in stock.

They are not. none, zip, nada. I asked the sales guy I talked to if they were in and became Demos. He said one of them is supposed to go to the owner, but none have arrived.

It's a Sport version.

Yeah, these seem to be selling really well--but the Sports are the Escape-based mini-utes, not the full fat version, which isn't out until next summer.

Still, it looks like a pretty nice competitor in that segment and all the reviews say it has some decent off-road capabilities for a FWD based mini ute.

I wasn't even aware that these existed until now. I was wondering what trim level of Bronco looked so lame.

The "real" Bronco looks cool. This looks dumb.

I mean, it's better than the Jeep equivalent, so there's that.

yeah, sounds pretty nice and probably the best vehicle for a new bronco owner but the real one will sell a lot more I bet since cooler.

The “real” Bronco has a production delay... think it’s now coming next summer...

I am seeing ever more regular posts on Facebook of pics of these on the road accompanied by comments along the lines of, "Are they serious?"

These are mostly coming from non-car people.

I'm kind of wondering if Ford's decision to make these available before the "real" ones might have seriously harmed the brand.
