Yeah Ted - I saw that one. Was 'ok' to a point - but didn't want a 2000.
Still looking favorably towards your's when you get to that point... if you get to that point. On a side note, I have the E38 in the shop now for the engine work (and some other stuff too). I will drive that one for a while and go from there...

And here Just to prove it is never safe to get back in the water - the auction winner doesn't want to keep the car... and reached out to see if any of the other bidders did. Yeah - I do... maybe. But - now that (I figure) the car is on the east coast, the $$ I would pay for it are different than if it is a 2 hour drive away (as it was for the BaT auction). Still- With the E38 getting fixed, the new engine and such going in the E9 soon - wtf, why not. I don't need it but it would be cool to have. We'll see what happens. I know... I know. It is a disease, right?

I am not sure how I feel about this. It seems inevitable, somehow, like the tides. When I sent it to my wife, she described it as "hilarious," which is about right.
