Well the new one won’t have a CD player. But yeah Porsche price hikes have been precipitous.

Allegedly additional price hikes are coming in 2024, most definitely for the 992.2 if it evens arrives in 2024.

2024 MSRP is $83,410.

I can go pickup a 2024 and park it in my garage and it will look exactly the same ... that is crazy !!!

I just checked an inflation calculator and it looks like 72k in 2019 woukd be almost 88k today! So maybe Porsche really hasn’t raised prices in real terms

Don't tell the CFO, he'll raise the prices again

BTW I missed an option, it seems they now charge for electric steering column, I had to go correct the Msrp

This is a 15% increase over 5 years so roughly +3% per year. Honestly not all that bad and below inflation rate over this time period.

718 GTS allocations seem pretty tight.

Just watched this video of the 718 2.5 GTS versus the 4.0 GTS, interesting at the end he shows measurements that the 4.0 has less leg room. I find it hard to believe Porsche would move the firewall on the 4.0 meanwhile the measurements show it does have less legroom. I can’t tell which seats are in the 4.0 but he does comment in the comments section they are the standard seats in both cars which I am guessing are the 2 way seats

Go to the 22 minute mark …
