Magnus Walker has one now, so expect that to change.

924s and 944s are still pretty good deals. 996s are the screaming deal of the Porsche world at the moment.

As far as I can tell, the best deal in a porsche is a Cayenne.

I've always like the 944. There's a crazy one of those on Rennlist too, asking $35k.

Brother in Law picked up a 1 owner '99 carrera with full leather, sports seats, etc. for something like $13k over the summer. It's some ugly shade of tan though.

I used to like 944s until my daughter's trashy boyfriend showed up with a beater one and kept tellling me how he was going to slam it and do whatever else trahsy teenage boyfriends try to do in / to cars. Only thin he suceeded in doing was putting a fart pipe on the back and piece of shrink wrap for the passenger window. Then something broke and he couldn't afford to fix it. Ugh. I hated that kid. Ruined 944s for me too. They've always had a sour taste for me. When I was a dork in high school, my parents talked about getting one. I told all my friends in hopes it would make me cool. The bought a subaru GL fastback instead.

I saw an i8 on the way home today. First time I've seen one on the road.

Also saw a new McLaren -- whatever the facelifted version of the MP4-12C is called...
