Proof that you can, sometimes, sell a snow cone to an Eskimo. LOL

We'll see how things go out from here.
I will be going to CA soon-ish to get the E9, need to finish gettout out of the old house, finish fixing up the new shop (some substantial changes), make some changes to the new house, go on a vacation (yeah - right - lol) and... just relax.

I am very fortunate that I even have the remote ability to talk about doing these things. There are TONS of people that are just trying to survive and not loose everything they have.

Oh yeah - and deal with the whole virus mess on top of this... as we all are.

Stay safe.
Excellent. (And how have you not moved yet?)

Yeah - I know...
Too many oars in the water - and working on the new house has kept us from really moving in - so we needed to keep things where they were.
That is now closing out and we are able to get moving again.

But will still be a little while for getting out of the old place. But we can pick that tempo up now.

Well - To bring up the latest (on my situation) -

I received 'the call' this afternoon.
If we have another round of layoffs (for August WARN, Oct layoff) - I am on the bubble.
It was suggested that I get my resume in order and start looking around. There are opportunities that may be available - but I may have to move. OKC, STL, Los Angeles... Who knows - with everything going the way it is now - working virtual might be available and I stay in Washington (with occasional trips to 'home base' - so to speak). Will see how this pans out.

To tell you the truth.... If it comes to that - I may just retire. I like what I do - Very much so. I'm not sure I have the energy to start over in a new area of the company. Stay tuned... Will know more in about a month...

Yeah - 32 years doesn't get you much if your job relies on sales when nobody is buying.

That really sucks Kevin.

You mentioned retiring, are they making that attractive? (packages I mean)

So sorry to hear that, Kevin! (And I probably would entertain the notion of retiring, too, if my current gig were to come to an end.)

Do you want to stay in Washington, or do you have a hankering to go elsewhere? Does your wife work?
