So, the Michelin PSS is better than the Hankook for about a year. After that year, it’s garbage. I say this as someone with a set of 75% tread PSSes on the rack that will get trashed when I get around to reusing the wheels they are on.

Pilot Sports came on my car. Had a slow leak and didn’t want to do two sets to deal with winter, so swapped out to A/S+. Totally happy with them. Precise handling, year round capabilities and no real sacrifice over running summers.
I had them on my E91 wagon, and their predecessor on my M3. Totally happy with them as a year round solution in places that don’t get a lot of snow. With a lesser car, I would absolutely and have previously bought the DWS. Also a great tire. Not sure you really need their snow worthiness in FLA, though. |

I still feel Michelin is at the cutting edge of tire technology. Not to say they are necessarily ahead of other reputable manufacturers, but they tend to produce a very well-rounded tire (no pun intended). |

My statement has more to do with interactions have had with production workers. It doesn't take much to press a green or red button

Production workers are almost entirely disconnected from the quality of the output for this sort of thing.

I always like the Conti's I've had plus I like the fact their tires are not heavy where Bridgestones usually are on the heavy side. On a car like the Honda with a 4 cylinder engine tire weight might have an effect on performance though I don't know if you care about that type of thing. I just remember the nightmare I went through with wheel and tire weights when I had the E46 330i ... it really made a difference. Last edited by Alan; 07-19-2020 at 08:14 AM. |

I have to 2nd the General Altimax RT43. We had those on my wife's CR-V for a couple years before we sold it. They were outstanding tires for the price and worlds better than the OEM Bridgestone garbage tires on our newer CR-V.
I have cheap Kumho all-seasons on my FR-S for around town driving, and they're only okay. |
